T-Festa. Art T-Shirt Festival #3

T-festa is an art and T-shirt platform that aims to disseminate new artistic manifestations. Its objective is to provide artists and/or designers with a platform to show off different aspects of their work. They organise a biennial T-Shirt Art Festival called T-Festa. The first two editions took place in AlhóndigaBilbao (Azkuna Zentroa) in 2012 and 2014.

For the first time, this year the T-Shirt Art Festival T-festa takes place in Tabakalera, with the participation of 25 artists and collectives and a side-events programme with concerts, DJ sessions and workshops.

T-festa works with independent creators whose common feature is their interest in the T-shirt as support. Some have already shown their work through a firm or through small art projects and others include the T-shirt as just another support with regard to a part of their work. T-festa seeks to promote and publicise the work of well-known artists and also others who have yet to be discovered.
