Chris Kraus carte blanche
Reportero (Bernardo Ruiz, Mexico, 2012, 71')
News topics come and go, but what are the unfathomable stories of a place? That is the question that inspires a veteran reporter and photojournalist in the border city of Tijuana. A native of Mexicali, he traces the lives of the region's inhabitants and revisits the themes jotted down in his notebook: migration, corruption and the increase in violence related to drug trafficking. Through a series of interconnected stories, we become witnesses to the challenges that this region, and the entire U.S.-Mexico border, faces.
