Ehunberri koadernoak = Cuadernos Ehunberri = Ehunberri notebooks
In order to present the contributions created in Ehunberri’s research process and share it with them, three notebooks were published. In these notebooks, the main characteristics of the institutions and movements that have worked for peace are explained, as well as the main projects, actions and proposals that have been carried out since the late 80s and up until now. Ehunberri’s 1st notebook: positive nucleus This notebook describes the main characteristics of around twenty institutions and movements that have worked to achieve peace in the Basque Country. In order to prepare it, interviews and focus groups were carried out with members of these institutions and movements. The creation of the movements and institutions, the reasons for their creation, the main goals and fields of work were analysed and, above all, information about the main initiatives and proposals that have been carried out in the Basque Country to build peace were collected. Ehunberri’s 2nd notebook: the river we want to be The river we want to be! is the 2nd notebook that was created based on the work carried out with those institutions. In the second stage, the proposal was to create a space to carry out a close-up interview. All the groups were invited to participate in it, and the goal of the interviews was the following: on the one hand, to study the assessment of the movement in depth together; on the other, to create a unified perspective, so that civil society can advance towards peace; and finally, to suggest specific actions to achieve that. Thus, the notebook collected the results of the encounter. During the encounter, the institutions tried to identify the practices, experiences, ideas and/or processes that were successful, and established various general and common objectives, so the nearby future they wanted to achieve could become true. Ehunberri’s 3rd notebook: graphic recording The third notebook collected, through images, the details of the close-up conversations with the social institutions that work for peace in the Basque Country. Illustrator Pernan Goñi Olalde summarised all the ideas, reflections and results that arose from the encounter, using a graphic recording format. The goal was to communicate the results through graphic language.
