Harsa Altzan = Harsa en Altza
Harsa worked in Alza, in Roman Irigoien square. ‘I am drawing a fisherwoman; a dream fisherwoman’. Jenni Karna-Escalante helped her in this project. ‘We are using four walls, but we will do just one composition, a story that will happen in four walls’. Arantxa Recio Parra is Harsa, a graphic artist, illustrator and mural painter from Zaragoza. Her images are colourful and naive and, at the same time, they are full of irony and hidden meanings. She has used many types of media for her work (cloth, stamps, bodies, canvas, walls...) and she likes to open new paths. Harsa’s images have been published in Mexico, Argentina and Spain, and her work has been exhibited in several European galleries. Her work can also be seen on walls of Tolosa and Ordizia. Finnish artist Jenni Karna-Escalante was by her side, to complete the work of the Speaking walls project.
