Proiektu irekien 6. deialdia = 6ª convocatoria de proyectos abiertos = 6th open call for projects
The Hirikilabs Plaza open call for projects is a process in which anyone can bring project proposals related to technology and / or digital culture to be developed at Hirikilabs in collaboration with other people. The philosophy of Hirikilabs Plaza is the promotion of free culture, open design and sharing knowledge.
The projects developed in Hirikilabs Plaza are very varied but all share a creative, critical and/or social use of technology. Experimenting with new uses of technology, trying out new platforms, modifying and simplifying processes, making them accessible or looking for the use of technologies applied to everyday contexts.
The only condition for projects developed in Hirikilabs Plaza is that they should open, share or make visible their results in the form of a workshop or presentation or via the Internet, explaining the process in a blog, website, tutorials and/or sharing the digital files generated via open licences. The deadline for this call for applications is 8 September, 2016. We will draw up a shortlist taking into account the possibilities of the laboratory and the open projects will be publicly presented on 15 September 2016.
The projects selected based on the public presentation can begin working in the laboratory from that date on.
What is Hirikilabs Plaza?
Hirikilabs Plaza are the sessions taking place every Thursday afternoon, open laboratory sessions. It is the place to meet people eager to develop projects in collaboration. An environment for interaction with individuals, groups and communities of practice, so that together they can make ideas evolve from DIY (do it yourself) to DIWO (do it with other people). How can I join Hirikilabs Plaza?
You can just come to the lab every Thursday from 16:00 to 20:00 and collaborate with the running projects, and, if you wish, you can submit a project while an open call is active. There are two open calls each year.
